What do I need to run a check in Ecuador?
The cédula number. We use it to validate identity, search court cases and check license status and driving history with the ANT. To confirm the name and run the sanctions and news searches, we also need the person’s full name.
What do you check with Ecuador’s judiciary?
With the cédula, we search cases in the Función Judicial’s system. By default, cases from civil and labor courts and those where the person is the injured party don’t count. If any remain, the report goes to manual review.
What do license checks cover in Ecuador?
With the ANT, we confirm the person holds at least one valid license of the types you require (B, C or D by default). If you prefer, you can turn off the validity check.
What does the driving history check cover?
License points and fines on record with the ANT. It fails if points fall below the minimum or there are fines for certain violations; you can adjust the minimum, the violations, the fine statuses and how far back records count.
How do you get the results?
