Which driving checks are available in each country?
License status is available in Mexico (depending on the issuing state), Colombia, Peru, Chile and Ecuador; drunk-driving records in Peru and Colombia; and fines or driving history in Peru, Colombia and Ecuador.
Can you check the vehicle?
Yes, in Mexico, Colombia and Chile. In Mexico we check REPUVE for vehicle details and theft reports; in Colombia, vehicle details and insurance; and in Chile, the vehicle inspection and circulation permit.
How do you validate identity?
Depending on the country, we look up the document number in the sources we cover (in Mexico, the CURP with RENAPO) and return the data on record so you can compare it with the person’s details.
How do I read the results?
Each report comes back as passed, failed or incomplete, based on your settings, or as info only if you just want the data. If there’s a match to review, it can go to manual review by our team. The decision is yours.
