Which ID documents do you accept in Colombia?
It depends on the report: the cédula de ciudadanía, cédula de extranjería, tarjeta de identidad and PPT. We validate the cédula with the Registraduría or the Procuraduría, and the PPT with Migración Colombia.
What do you check with Colombia’s judiciary?
We search the person’s name in the Consulta de Procesos Nacional Unificada; if there’s a match, the report goes to manual review. With the cédula, we also check sentence enforcement courts in the districts we cover.
Which driving checks are available in Colombia?
In RUNT, license status and a vehicle’s details and insurance. In SIMIT, drunk-driving fines, the number of unpaid fines and the amount owed in fines.
What do the National Police and Procuraduría checks cover?
With the ID number, we check the records reported by the National Police and those held by the Procuraduría General de la Nación. Each report passes if there’s no record and fails if there is one.
