Official sources in Brazil

We validate the CPF against the Receita Federal and search for active arrest warrants in the BNMP, run by the National Council of Justice. We also review criminal sentence enforcement cases in SEEU and the state courts we cover, and if you give us the mother’s name, we use it to rule out namesakes.

FAQ

What do I need to run a check in Brazil?

The CPF. We use it to validate identity with the Receita Federal and run the court searches. Depending on your settings, some reports can also search by RG or full name.

What if the CPF isn’t in regular status?

By default, the report passes only if the Receita Federal shows the CPF as regular; otherwise it fails. You can choose which other statuses to accept, such as suspended or pending regularization.

Which criminal records do you check in Brazil?

Active arrest warrants in the BNMP, criminal sentence enforcement cases in SEEU and records from the state courts we cover. If a record turns up and manual review is on, our team reviews it.

Can I adjust what counts in state court records?

Yes. You can ignore records older than a set number of years or opened before the person reached a set age, and filter by case type or court.

How do you get the results?

Run checks and get results through the dashboard, integrations or API.
