What do I need to run a check in Chile?
The RUN. We use it to validate identity and get the name for the criminal case search. Certificate checks also need the certificate’s codes, and vehicle checks need the license plate.
How do you validate a criminal record certificate?
We check it with the Registro Civil’s verification service using the RUN and the certificate’s codes. If validation fails, the report is marked failed and goes to manual review.
What do you check with Chile’s judiciary?
We search the person’s name, taken from the RUN, in the Oficina Judicial Virtual. If cases turn up, the report goes to manual review. For a foreign resident’s RUN, we also need their full name.
What do vehicle checks cover in Chile?
With the license plate, we check the vehicle inspection, the circulation permit and the model year. For public transport vehicles such as taxis, we can also check their status in Chile’s national public and school transport registry.
